This document will show you how to open a Revit drawing in the Revit version you want it to open.
If you have different Revit® versions installed on your computer and you open a Revit drawing by double clicking on the drawing it might open in a version you don’t want it to open.
First of all we need to edit the PackageContents.xml file.
The PackageContents.xml file is located in the hsbDesign for Revit installation path which is in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\hsbOnRevit.bundle
Open this file in Notepad.
Remove the part marked in RED.
In this case I removed the version 2021.
