Essential Guide to How to change your AutoCAD® Architecture Profile
This document will show you how to change the AutoCAD® Architecture profile.
- Right-click in the command line and select Options.
- Select the Profiles tab.
- Select a different profile and select the Set Current button
AutoCAD® Architecture will use the profile that is set in the shortcut icon each time the program is started.
Following are the steps to assign a default profile in AutoCAD® Architecture shortcut icon:
- Right-click on the shortcut icon.
- Click on Properties > Shortcut tab.
- In the Properties dialog box, in the Target section, change the target after/p to the chosen profile.

In the Properties dialog box, click the Shortcut tab and in the Target text box, at the end, enter /p followed by the name and path of the profile (filename.arg) that you want AutoCAD® to use when it starts.
