Revit® | How to stop hsbDesign for Revit® opening in a certain version of Revit®

This document will show you how to open a Revit drawing in the Revit® version you want it to open.

If you have different Revit® versions installed on your computer and you open a Revit drawing by double clicking on the drawing it might open in a version you don't want it to open.

First of all we need to edit the PackageContents.xml file.

The PackageContents.xml file is located in the hsbDesign for Revit® installation path which is in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\hsbOnRevit.bundle

Open this file in Notepad.
Remove the part marked in RED.
In this case I removed the version 2021.
