Version 24 of hsbMake

New in hsbMake24

New

  • Panels now supported in hsbmake Production Checklist client application.
  • Management application to configure all hsbClient configurations in a single place to: Change properties of multiple configs in one go, Create new hsbClient configurations, Copy configurations.
  • Additional References provide the means to create jobs for the controller based on existing jobs but with a different route and suffix. This function is now available at element level. e.g. a saw processing elements could have independent jobs for plates, module beams and stud – S_Wall1_Plates, S_Wall1_Modules, S_Wall1_Studs
  • The hsbmake label printing now has the option to print a label for single element and multi-element elements in a batch job. e.g. a batch of walls is processed through a workstation in the factory resulting in a label per wall being printed.
  • The hsbmake project storage application now has the option to create an empty project. This empty project can be populated with models that do already exist in the system and with newly stored models.
  • There is a new option added, to show the wall icon in the elementview client.
  • The columns in the Workstation Job report can now be switched on and off in the application settings in hsbmake Office.
  • The Beam and Sheet Production Checklists now show a dimensioned shop drawing for the individual sheets and beams when they are selected. This gives a clear view to the user of what the part should look like.

Improved in hsbMake24

Improved

  • In hsbMS office Project Storage, closed projects are now indicated as a strike through the project number.
  • ElementView configuration made more consistent – Panel settings.
  • Selecting an item in the element view client will highlight it in the material list, and vice versa.
  • The external reference field is now included in the production order list and details view for Production Orders, Production Batches and Production Order Lines.
  • Production Viewer now supports search. The job view has now been tabbed, with the existing list of component jobs labels “Jobs”, and a search tab to its right. The tabs can also be closed by clicking the x. The search approach is similar to Team City where a space is essentially a wild card character.
  • HSB_CommentDisplay tsl: Option added to delete a comment from an element.
  • Label Tools now exposes two variables to populate QR codes on labels:
ModelQR – references a model within an hsbShare project
ItemQR – references an entity in a model in an hsbShare project
  • Dymo label printers are now supported in Label Tools.
  • The ElementView tab in the hsbmake client window will now resize to fit the text in each column where information is present.
  • The Width, Height and Length values on the Build Sequence report can now be defined with format variables.
  • Groups in the Configuration Designer can now be copied and pasted as groups. This simplifies setting up a configuration with a lot of similar lines.
  • Where single elements are specified in an imported production order, but the resulting production order is created with multielements, if an external reference exists on the single elements these are now added as the External Reference for the multielement the single elements are part of.
  • There is now an option in the Order Import settings to specify that all imported orders must import successfully or none of the orders in the import file will be imported.
  • There is now an option in the Order Import for cross order multiwalls, where an item from one imported order becomes part of another order, for the Order External Reference to be changed to include the other order. e.g. EXTREF1-EXTREF2.
  • It is now possible to copy and paste one or more Units and Buffers in the controller configuration designer. This not only creates new Units and Buffers, but it also creates the links between the new Units and Buffers based on the source connections.
  • The Distributor now supports multi-select. Sequence numbers are added to the selected items to indicate the booking sequence. It is also possible now to confirm if the selected jobs should be distributed or not.
  • The @(Index) variable is now available for Master Panel naming in hsbmake Project Storage. e.g. specifying the naming formats as MP-@(Index) would result in: MP-1, MP-2, MP-3 etc.
  • It is now possible to use the search box in hsbmake office to filter the list of import files.
