Version 25 of hsbMake

New and improved in hsbMake25

General

  • The Batch Provider is improved to use Formatting. The format will be used group the Production Order Items into batches. e.g. if the Format is @(Code), a batch will be created for each Wall Code containing all items with that Wall Code.
  • The Workstation list in Production Setup now allows the user to sort the list by clicking on the column headers. The arrow on the column header indicates the current sorting column and its direction, up or down, indicates the sorting direction.

  • The @(Index) variable is now available for Master Panel naming in hsbMake Project Storage. e.g. specifying the naming formats as MP-@(Index) would result in: MP-1, MP-2, MP-3 etc.
  • The search is improved. The Workstations list in the Production Setup can now be searched.

  • Units in the Controller can now be set as Automatic and will show as grey in the the Configuration Designer and the Production Viewer. This is intended to indicate units that operate automatically rather than being used by an operator or a CNC machine.

  • In the Configuration Designer, routes can be added or removed for one or more Units and Buffers from the context menu.
Configuration Designer – Add Routing

  • A new application for tablets has been created called the hsbShopdrawings app. With this app it is now possible to display hsbmake shop drawings on a tablet. These shopdrawings are generated from projects which are stored in hsbshare.
  • When activating the pause button in the Production Time Client, the play and text start blinking to notify the user he has activated a pause/stop.

  • The SIP Production Check list has been extended to show Panels inside Master Panels, providing panel specific dimensions. The existing Panel shop drawing is also still available as a separate tab.

  • The distributor now can also show information about the jobs. Information like Length, Area, Board Foot can be displayed on job level. The total values can be shown in the headers of the input buffer and the output buffers.
Job information

ElementView client

  • An option is added to the hsbClient Book In Selection to allow the user to click the Book In button to book in the next job in the buffer, or click the dropdown portion of the button to show the list of jobs to select from. This is aimed at operations where most of the time the next job in the buffer will be booked in, but the operator may need to select a specific job under some circumstances.
  • The Book In Selection now has a search box that provides a find-as-you-type search of the jobs in the client’s input buffer. This is aimed at users of the Book In Selection where there are a lot of jobs in the client’s input buffer.
Book In Selection – Search
  • When User Book In Selection is enabled, the job list is now paged to make it easier to navigate. This can also improve performance and ease of use if there are a large number of jobs in the queue.
Book In Selection – Paging
  • In the views it is now possible to switch between “First angle projection” and “Third angle projection”.
Reverse views to switch between First angle projection and Third angle projection.
  • Hardware components, linked to tsl entities, can now be listed in the material list.

Module client

  • There is now an option in the Module Client to Dimension All Beams. When this is disabled, the beam dimension points are cleaned up to only show necessary dimensions e.g. in a continuous run of studs only the first beam will be dimensioned.
Module client – Dimension All Beams
  • In the Module Client it is now possible to specify a Format to populate the beam label in the module drawing. This was previously hard-coded to the Posnum of the beam.
