Compound ceiling connections
Compound ceilings can now be used to attach a framing style and generate the construction. The ceilings will behave as a floor in connections.
Overwrite framing style of item container
The framing style of an item container can now be overwritten style based. The connections are also taken from the style override, instead of its original style.
Distribute the frame based on grid elements
Grid elements can be used for the distribution of the frame. On each perpendicular intersection of a grid with an item container a beam will be placed.
Distribute the frame based on a distribution point
A distribution point family can be used to set out the distribution of the frame. On each perpendicular intersection of a virtual grid, based on the position and rotation of the family, with an item container a beam will be placed.
Reduced file size
To reduce the file size of projects with many connections and edge detail families, now there will only be one connection and one edge detail family. To override the connection or edge detail you can use the customize command.
Translation added
The detail editor has been translated. The supported languages are English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.
Embedded images for clearer Zone Filler settings explanation
The zone filler settings have explanatory images embedded. These images will help you understand the properties with their behavior.
Manual Recalculation Added for Blocking
The blocking can now be manually recalculated without the need to re-generate the item container. The tool will react to manual changes to the item container.
Group Extension Runner
With the group extension runner you can configure and run extensions on framed and/or manually adjusted item containers. One of many examples would be that you can automatically add nail lines and saw lines to the item containers, taking manual adjustments to your frame into account.
Use Revit assemblies in framed item containers
Revit assemblies can now be placed within your framed item container. They can be displayed in your item container shopdrawings or you can create seperate shopdrawings for them. The assemblies will also be present in our exports.
Customize your workflow with our dynamo packages
For our set of dynamo nodes we have have created a package. The package allows you to customize your workflow with the help of dynamo. Functionality includes import of framing styles, override of details, assignment of elements to item containers, generation of item containers and export.
Create your custom item container label
With our formatting engine you can customize the label that is visualized on the item container. For example showing the framing style along side with the item container number.
Improved Dialog for Adding Beams with Type and Property Settings
The dialog for adding beams allows to set a different type and change properties such as beamtype.
Dummy beams for details
Now dummy beams can be added to your detail. These beams will not be created in the model but can be used to help build the correct geometry of your detail.
You can now arrange your objects in the detail editor
Layer utilities can be used to arrange certain objects to the foreground or background. This will allow for a faster and smoother creation of your details.
Background Filtering of Plugin List for a better Overview
Plugin list is being filtered in the background based on tags in the framingstyle editor and group extensionmanager. This will give you a better overview of the plugins that can be used within the current context.
Bulge Support for Saw and Milling Lines
Saw and milling lines now support a bulge, this allows for arc segments in saw and milling lines. This includes rounded or round openings for mep holes.
Enhanced project information in the output
Project information in the different exports is now added using the default project information parameters.
Rotation line in connection details
You can now use a rotation line in your connection details. This was restricted before to work only on edge details.
Flipping item containers
Item containers can now be flipped 180 degrees
