Additionally, Structural Blocking, Point Load, and Pocket tools now auto-update related framing elements, reducing manual adjustments.
Revit 2025 Support – hsbDesign 28 is fully compatible with Revit 2025®, for a smooth and efficient workflow.
Disable Connections
Users now have the ability to disable connection details across the entire model. Disabling connections in the Framing Style Editor will automatically disable them in the model as well. This enhancement allows users to display and work only with the connection details they need, improving clarity and performance.

Improved Search Functionality
The search function has been enhanced to support custom search keywords. Users can now refine their searches with structured queries, such as:
- Column-specific queries using 'ColumnName:Value'. (e.g.,'Primary:Group' or 'P:Group')
- Logical operators: AND, OR, NOT
- Wildcards (*) for flexible matching
- 'Value*' matches text starting with 'Value'.
- *Value' matches text ending with 'Value'.
- 'Start*End' matches text starting with 'Start' and ending with'End'.
- Searches are case-insensitive: 'Group' and 'group' are treated the same.
- Default searches in all columns if no column is specified.
This improvement enables more precise searches and better organization of model elements.

Double cut
The Double Cut Tool has been enhanced to support multiple elements dynamically. After insertion, the double cut can be modified, and additional elements can be subtracted, making it a powerful tool for framing detail drawings.

Enhanced Update & Removal Tools
- Improved interaction between Structural Blocking, Point Load, and Pocket tools.
- Updating one tool will now automatically update the framing for all interacting tools.
- If one tool is removed, all related tools will recalculate and adapt to the change without requiring regeneration of the entire panel.
